Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffeehouse industry, renowned for its commitment to crafting the world’s finest coffee and fostering meaningful customer connections. Founded in 1971, Starbucks has grown to become a staple in communities worldwide, offering a warm and welcoming space where every cup of coffee is more than just a beverage—it’s an opportunity to create moments that matter. With an expansive network of stores internationally, Starbucks continues to set industry standards not only in quality and innovation but also in employee development, diversity, and inclusion.

This opportunity is for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a passion for engaging with people. Starbucks seeks partners who take pride in their work and appreciate the significance of every encounter with customers. Each shift presents a chance to brighten someone's day through friendly interactions, personalized service, and attention to detail, from greeting customers with a warm smile to remembering their favorite orders. The role embraces the broader philosophy of Starbucks partners building genuine connections that spark joy and create loyal clientele.

As a Starbucks partner, you will be supported throughout your growth journey with a combination of on-the-job training, developmental experiences, and industry-leading benefits that enable you to excel professionally and personally. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, making it ideal for individuals looking to launch or continue their careers in the hospitality or customer service sectors. The role involves preparing high-quality coffee and food products while adhering to Starbucks’ strict standards for beverage crafting and food safety. Flexibility is key, as shifts may vary and can include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

In addition to a welcoming work environment, Starbucks offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic and supplemental life insurance; short-term and long-term disability coverage; paid parental leave; and more. Partners also accrue paid vacation and sick time and enjoy additional pay during observed holidays. Financial well-being is supported through a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, stock purchase programs, and equity plans. Educational advancement is highly encouraged with 100% tuition coverage available for a first-time bachelor’s degree through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, provided in partnership with Arizona State University’s online program.

The company maintains a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring all qualified applicants receive equal employment consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. Furthermore, Starbucks is dedicated to accommodating individuals with disabilities during the hiring process and employment. This role offers a unique chance to join a company where your contributions directly impact customers’ experiences while supporting your personal and professional goals in a supportive community setting.
