Job Duties
- Display a congenial appearance
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- Attend meetings including daily communication, service, weekly staff meeting, monthly department meetings
- Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- Practice effective listening by seeking to understand
- Be responsible for cleanliness of the immediate work area and general property
- Do not sleep on duty
- Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment and hostile work environment policies
- Ensure guests are greeted timely, friendly, and professionally
- Follow service standards as described in the server training manual
- Brew coffee and tea and fill containers with requested beverages
- Wrap menu items and assist pastry department with wrapping retail items for sale
- Clear, clean, reset, and maintain work area during shift
- Assist other attendants to provide best possible service
- Understand Sea beans product and equipment
- Handle guest checks according to hotel policy
- Follow proper cash handling and room post procedures
- Work with and support other servers
- Maintain pars and equipment needed for tasks
- Complete side work assigned by manager or supervisor
- Assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Follow directions from manager at all times
- Notify supervisor immediately of customer complaints
- Maintain proper uniform and name tag at all times
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
