The Food Service Worker role at Indiana University Health is integral to maintaining high standards of food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction within the hospital environment. This position is scheduled at 36 hours per week, primarily from 6am to 3pm, with a rotating weekend requirement, supporting the continuous operation of the health system's food service departments. The individual in this role is responsible for preparing, plating, serving, and transporting food and beverages to a diverse clientele including patients, family members, physicians, other hospital employees, and the public. Providing courteous, quick, and accurate service is essential to this position, as is the prompt resolution of any customer concerns that may arise.
