Job Requirements
- Food handler card
- Alcohol awareness card
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to work in noisy environment
- Ability to lift push pull and carry minimum 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stoop bend reach twist crouch squat lift
- Ability to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of drink recipes and preparation procedures
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local alcohol laws
- Ability to operate point of sale systems
- Food handler certification
- Alcohol awareness certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Make drinks and food items for guests
- Ensure correct recipes are followed for quality control and guest satisfaction
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to alcohol sales and safety
- Assist with maintaining and stocking all supplies
- Put away all food and beverage deliveries as needed in correct areas
- Ensure all perishable items are correctly sealed and dated
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop
- Check expiration dates on all perishable products
- Use the point of sale system effectively
- Follow cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
