The Barista - Refreshments Operator II at Aramark plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that products are stocked appropriately. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas, while operating essential coffee equipment like espresso machines, grinders, and brewers. The employee is responsible for greeting customers warmly, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café and seating areas, and restocking supplies including cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups, and pastries, which contributes to an outstanding service experience. This position requires someone who is highly organized, able to respond quickly to changing demands, and possesses a strong sense of urgency and excellent problem-solving skills.

In addition to beverage preparation, this role involves cleaning countertops, coffee grinders, decanters, and milk frothers, as well as assisting with opening and closing duties including setup, cleaning, and inventory tasks. The role demands physical strength to repeatedly lift packages up to 50 pounds and requires a valid driver’s license for the possibility of traveling to other locations on short notice.
