The Hospitality Department located in Newport Beach, California, is currently seeking a Hospitality Associate to join the team. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional, personalized experience to high-net-worth guests and VIP clientele within the exclusive RL Club. The Hospitality Associate embodies the Ralph Lauren spirit, combining graciousness, polish, and a service-driven disposition to create memorable moments for every guest interaction.
This hourly position offers a pay range of $15.95 to $22.05, with actual compensation dependent on experience and geographic location. The Hospitality Associate is responsible for greeting VIP clients and brand partners with warmth and professionalism, delivering tailored hospitality services including beverage offerings and curated amenities, and ensuring a seamless and luxurious client journey. The associate also collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as retail, client experience, VIP services, and the tailor shop to coordinate bespoke experiences and maintain the exquisite ambience of the RL Club space.
Additional responsibilities include anticipating guest preferences, managing client profiles, supporting in-store activations and private appointments, maintaining discretion and privacy, and utilizing smart home technologies and digital tools to enhance operational efficiency. The role demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to service excellence.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in luxury hospitality or related environments, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for creating meaningful client connections. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events is essential, as is the physical ability to maneuver through the sales floor and related workspaces according to Ralph Lauren health and safety guidelines. Computer proficiency with applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in luxury hospitality or related client services
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 30 lbs and climbing ladders
- Basic computer proficiency
- Commitment to confidentiality and discretion
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury hospitality, private members clubs, or high-end retail clienteling environments
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate and respond to client needs intuitively
- Professional appearance, poise, and demeanor reflective of the Ralph Lauren brand
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and special event coverage
- Passion for delivering elevated service experiences and creating meaningful, lasting client connections
- Computer skills preferred: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office
- Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours
Job Duties
- Greet and personally welcome VIP clients, brand partners, and special guests upon arrival to RL Club, offering a warm, elevated, and attentive introduction to the space
- Provide personalized hospitality services including beverage offerings, curated amenities, and tailored experiences aligned with client preferences
- Execute any client catering, entertainment or other guest accommodations
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences by building relationships, maintaining client profiles, and collaborating with sales associates, personal stylists, and management
- Maintain the ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation of the RL Club space to the highest standard at all times
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including retail, client experience & VIP, and tailor shop to ensure a seamless and luxurious client journey
- Support the execution of in-store activations, private appointments, and bespoke experiences within the RL Club environment
