Job Requirements
- 2+ year of experience in guest-focused industries such as restaurants, bars, theaters, kitchens, specialty retail, or hospitality
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English is required
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
- Ability to meet store scheduling and availability expectations, including the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and high retail traffic and sales days, including but not limited to the day after Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, Mother’s Day, etc
- A NY Food Handler Certificate and an understanding of how to abide by the rules of the Department of Health related to Food Service and Employee + Guest Safety
Job Qualifications

- A NY Food Handler Certificate and understanding of Department of Health food service and employee + guest safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Energetic, motivated, and results-driven with a positive approach to teamwork
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Tech-savvy and highly organized, with ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
- Passion for coffee, customer service, and creating unique guest experiences
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages to brand standards
- Proactively anticipate customer and store needs by assessing the environment and recognizing guest cues, while consistently delivering an elevated, personalized service experience to every customer
- Provide genuine, personalized customer service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued
- Educate guests on our beverage menu, brewing methods, and retail products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café and retail environment
- Support daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service between café and retail
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and standards
- Demonstrate flexibility and perform tasks with speed and excellence
