Job Description
Eurest, a division of Compass Group, is recognized globally for its commitment to delivering excellence and innovative service solutions within the foodservice industry. Known for embracing an ownership mindset, Eurest leverages worldwide resources while maintaining a local presence that enriches the communities served. The company's core promise — to connect with people, inspire through food, create solutions, and uphold their commitment — is deeply embedded in all aspects of their operations. Serving many of the world's most reputable corporations, including numerous Fortune 500 companies, Eurest consistently sets high standards in foodservice quality and customer satisfaction.
The current opportunity is for a part-time Barista position located at the LPL Financial Café at 1055 LPL Way, Fort Mill, SC. This role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with a part-time schedule primarily on Tuesdays from 6:00 am to 11:00 am. This position is ideal for someone with previous barista experience who is enthusiastic about preparing high-quality coffee and espresso beverages and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will work diligently to create an inviting café environment by managing food and beverage items with precision according to HACCP guidelines and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the service area.
As a Barista at Eurest, you will not only prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks but also engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, playing an essential role in promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty. The role demands careful attention to detail in order entry and cash handling, as well as a commitment to maintaining the presentation and quality of all products served. You will be responsible for replenishing condiments and supplies, adhering strictly to food safety standards, and keeping all equipment clean and sanitized.
This position emphasizes teamwork and communication, requiring the Barista to effectively relay customer feedback to supervisors and promote additional sales through knowledgeable explanations of menu items and assistance during the buying process. Eurest fosters an inclusive and diverse workplace culture, encouraging employees to grow and succeed while contributing to the company’s continued leadership in the foodservice sector.
Eurest offers a robust package of benefits for both full-time and part-time associates. Part-time employees can access retirement plans, associate shopping programs, health and wellness initiatives, identity theft protection, pet insurance, and a variety of voluntary benefits such as critical illness insurance and legal services. Full-time employees enjoy enhanced benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options, as well as flexible spending accounts and commuter benefits. Eurest is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and equal employment opportunities, promoting fairness regardless of race, gender, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification. This role offers the chance to join a leading company that values diversity, excellence, and employee satisfaction while developing a rewarding career in foodservice.
