Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • two years' barista experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to multitask and stay organized
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ability to handle cash transactions
  • professional demeanor and appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea to patrons
  • customize orders as requested
  • describe product details to customers
  • receive and process customer payments or charge employee badges
  • serve prepared foods like cookies, muffins, or bagels
  • stock customer service stations with paper products and beverage preparation items
  • clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas
  • clean and sanitize service and seating areas
  • check and ensure proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment
  • stock supplies or retail products
  • follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
  • multitask and stay organized
  • communicate effectively with leadership, peers, physician offices, and patients
