The role being offered is a part-time Barista position at the Capital One Cafe located at 401 Broadway, Santa Monica, CA. This opportunity invites enthusiastic individuals with a passion for coffee and customer service to join a dynamic team. The position offers a flexible schedule, with shifts available either in the morning (7:30 am - 12:20 pm) or afternoon (1:30 pm - 6:30 pm), three to four days a week. The fixed pay rate for this role is $20.00 per hour, and the company is currently hiring immediately, accepting online applications on an ongoing basis until the positions are filled. While barista experience is preferred, it is not mandatory; however, candidates must have at least one year of customer service experience. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and interacting with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

As a Barista at Eurest, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and quality standards. The position requires adherence to HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and sanitation. The Barista will handle transactions using a POS device, manage inventory by replenishing supplies, and maintain cleanliness in the workstation and equipment. Customer interaction is a key component of this role, requiring excellent communication skills to explain menu items and create a welcoming atmosphere.
