Job Requirements

  • a minimum of two years of hospitality or related work experience is preferred
  • education: high school education or equivalent experience
  • requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • ability to make coffee and tea drinks at the guest requests and Four Seasons standards specifications
  • ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions

Job Duties

  • providing counter service to guests through taking verbal requests for food and accommodating the expediting of such requests
  • have the ability to describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • accommodate guest orders, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • properly and accurately close guest checks
  • process cash and credit card payments
  • properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
  • breakdown, clean and set-up of Stir and its adjacent areas, including front of house, back of house, and seating areas
  • comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • assist with daily inventory and ordering and stock food and beverage and paper supplies
