The role of Barista at Four Seasons Napa Valley is integral to the guest experience, responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and tea beverages that delight guests while providing exceptional customer service in a warm and inviting environment. Job Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee drinks and tea beverages to standard recipes
- Have knowledge of specialty drinks including their ratios, recipes, and techniques
- Execute special orders and modifications to ensure all dietary restrictions are adhered to
- Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using point-of-sales system
- Check completed orders with guests
- Service and take orders at the bar offering detailed descriptions of items' origin, taste, and preparation methods
- Maintain a working knowledge of coffees, menu offerings, and specialty drinks
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond to concerns promptly
- Properly and accurately close guest checks and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment in the bar area
