- Minimum one-year food and beverage service experience or equivalent
- Ability to communicate professional and accurately
- Ability to stand for eight hours
- Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to multitask in a high volume and demanding environment
- Strong problem-solving skills

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations and guests
- Knowledge of coffee ingredients, including espresso and coffee beans origin and sustainability impact
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 20 pounds
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee drinks and tea beverages to standard recipes
- Have knowledge of specialty drinks including their ratios, recipes, and techniques
- Execute special orders and modifications to ensure all dietary restrictions are adhered to
- Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using point-of-sales system
- Check completed orders with guests
- Service and take orders at the bar offering detailed descriptions of items' origin, taste, and preparation methods
- Maintain a working knowledge of coffees, menu offerings, and specialty drinks
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond to concerns promptly
- Properly and accurately close guest checks and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment in the bar area
