The opportunity at hand is a part-time position located at Family Fare in Fargo, North Dakota. This role centers on contributing to the customer experience in the coffee shop setting by expertly preparing beverages and food, managing point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring operational standards are met. The coffee shop team member will be instrumental in maintaining a welcoming environment that reflects SpartanNash's commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include brewing, mixing, or blending coffee shop beverages according to set standards, preparing food items with care and precision, and operating the cash register efficiently to handle multiple payment types. In addition, the role calls for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the department, adhering to food safety protocols and company policies related to security and cash handling. This position requires a proactive approach to inventory management by notifying supervisors when supplies need replenishment and actively communicating ongoing store promotions, loyalty programs, and specials to customers. Furthermore, candidates should be prepared to collaborate flexibly by possibly assisting other departments as needed to enhance the customer experience.
