Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous barista experience preferred
  • excellent customer service skills preferred
  • availability to work varying shifts Monday through Friday
  • ability to follow food safety guidelines
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • open availability preferred
  • strong interpersonal skills

  • basic math and cash handling skills
  • ability to learn POS system operations
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • enters orders accurately into POS device
  • accepts cash and charge payments
  • replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • follows HACCP standards
  • maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
  • cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly
  • greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
  • demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately to customers
  • advocates selling techniques by assisting customers in buying decisions
  • ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly per standards
  • performs other duties as assigned
