Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in food service or coffee bar environment
  • Certification in Food Safety Handling or willingness to obtain it under the State of Florida regulations
  • Ability to work scheduled part-time hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physical capability to stand for prolonged periods and handle food and beverage preparation
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude

Job Qualifications

  • SafeServe certification in food safety handling
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar food service or coffee bar role
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
  • Strong team player with ability to support volunteer growth and development
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Maintaining quality standards for all products sold within the coffee bar including food and beverage
  • Providing exceptional customer service within the coffee bar environment ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Supporting the growth and development of the volunteer team by stewarding 1-2 growth tracks per quarter
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations for food handling and preparation are followed and maintaining certification in Food Safety Handling
  • Accepting deliveries and completing related delivery paperwork as required
  • Using the point-of-sale system efficiently and enhancing POS knowledge through online tutorials
  • Maintaining all equipment in clean and functional condition
  • Keeping display cases clean and arranging cafe goods attractively
