Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in food service or coffee bar environment
- Certification in Food Safety Handling or willingness to obtain it under the State of Florida regulations
- Ability to work scheduled part-time hours including evenings and weekends
- Physical capability to stand for prolonged periods and handle food and beverage preparation
- Reliable and punctual
- Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude
Job Qualifications
- SafeServe certification in food safety handling
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar food service or coffee bar role
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Experience with point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
- Strong team player with ability to support volunteer growth and development
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Maintaining quality standards for all products sold within the coffee bar including food and beverage
- Providing exceptional customer service within the coffee bar environment ensuring a positive customer experience
- Supporting the growth and development of the volunteer team by stewarding 1-2 growth tracks per quarter
- Ensuring health and safety regulations for food handling and preparation are followed and maintaining certification in Food Safety Handling
- Accepting deliveries and completing related delivery paperwork as required
- Using the point-of-sale system efficiently and enhancing POS knowledge through online tutorials
- Maintaining all equipment in clean and functional condition
- Keeping display cases clean and arranging cafe goods attractively
