Job Requirements

Prior hospitality customer service or barista experience preferred
must be able to learn all menu items and up-selling techniques
basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a register
ability to effectively resolve conflict situations such as inaccurate check total
outgoing pleasant personality and the ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand menus and special promotions and communicate with guests
ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale procedures to handle cashier functions
detail-oriented and highly organized
able to multitask prioritize effectively and work well both independently and as part of a team
physically able to stand walk lift up to 25 lbs and perform required tasks
must be able to work a varied schedule to include mornings days evenings weekends and the ability to work under pressure

Job Duties

Understand full menu including ingredients preparation and service standards
consistently prepare quality beverages and dishes to standard
maintain cleanliness and organization of work area performing cleaning as assigned
operate POS system accurately while multitasking and completing side work
comply with accounting guidelines for processing payments and completing closing tasks at end of shift
follow merchandising stocking rotation and storage standards
handle guest orders from start to finish resolving complaints professionally
assist in other areas of the marketplace as business levels demand
other duties as assigned
