Job Description
Watermark Baton Rouge, located in the beautiful downtown area of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a distinguished member of Marriott's Autograph Collection. This unique hotel stands proudly as one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, boasting a rich history and an eclectic architectural style that blends Art Deco with Greek Revival elements. Originally built in 1927 as Baton Rouge’s first "skyscraper" and serving as the headquarters for Louisiana Trust & Savings Bank, the building has a storied past which is still evident in its design. The hotel features elaborate murals by the renowned New Orleans artist Angela Gregory, preserved ceilings, carved marble walls, and a grand staircase that leads to the original bank vaults, all of which contribute to the hotel's breathtaking ambiance. Towering above downtown and offering magnificent views of the Mississippi River, Watermark Baton Rouge combines the charm and elegance of historic design with contemporary comfort and luxury. The hotel’s public spaces and restaurants pay homage to design elements spanning from the 1920s through the 1960s, creating a uniquely inviting atmosphere for guests and locals alike.
