Job Requirements
- At least one year of barista experience preferred
- ability to work on an on-call basis with variable hours
- capability to handle cash and POS transactions
- knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
- ability to communicate effectively and courteously with customers and team members
- physical ability to perform duties including standing for extended periods
- authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of one year of previous barista experience preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work on an on-call schedule with varying shifts
- knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
- ability to operate POS systems effectively
- attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas

Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils
- ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
- serves customers quickly and efficiently
- explains daily menu items accurately to customers
- advocates selling techniques to customers
- ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly
- performs other duties as assigned
