Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or barista role preferred
  • Eligible to obtain Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, weekends, and nights
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
  • Experience in food and beverage preparation preferred
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Capability to operate espresso and food service equipment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve espresso beverages and food items
  • Provide excellent and respectful customer service to a diverse customer base in a medical setting
  • Train new or unskilled employees in preparation, service, cleaning, stocking, and departmental procedures
  • Operate all espresso and/or food service equipment and machinery
  • Stock supplies necessary for preparation and service of beverages and food items
  • Display food and espresso items attractively
  • Operate cash register and handle cash, check and charge payments according to policies
