Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of specialty retail sales experience beneficial
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, climb stairs, and stand for long periods
- Ability to carry 35lb consistently
- Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
- Health code certification per jurisdictional requirements

- Experience in service, culinary, restaurant, or entertainment industry
- Ability to memorize complex menus and ingredient builds
- Health code certification as required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work in multiple positions within store departments
- Ability to build relationships quickly
- Ability to learn quickly
- High attention to detail
- Facilitation and presentation skills beneficial
- Baking or culinary certification or degree beneficial
- Pizza making and basic culinary knife skills beneficial
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Additional languages beneficial
Job Duties
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote Starbucks culture, values, and mission
- Provide a unique coffee and food-forward experience for every customer
- Serve as a coffee and food expert with exceptional product knowledge
- Maintain composure during high-volume periods
- Prepare quality beverages and food according to recipe standards
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Support store events and full-service models
- Maintain knowledge of rotating menu items and retail products
- Engage customers with recommendations and demonstrations
- Follow operational policies including cash handling and safety protocols
- Keep workspace clean and organized
- Support inventory management and receiving deliveries
- Use production planning tools for item availability
- Assemble beverage and food items with necessary equipment
- Stock and maintain display tables and supplies
- Proof doughs and laminates as needed
