This position as a Barista at Lincoln University offers the opportunity to join a vibrant dining facility where culinary excellence meets exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering services within the university's busy dining environment. This role demands a passion for coffee and tea beverages, a commitment to quality, and the ability to create memorable experiences for guests. Responsibilities include preparing and serving a variety of drinks with consistent quality and presentation, handling equipment maintenance, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer interaction. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and follow health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Greet and engage with guests take orders and provide recommendations while delivering friendly and attentive customer service
- Operate and maintain coffee machines grinders and other equipment to ensure they are clean well-maintained and functioning correctly
- Manage and restock coffee beans syrups milk and other beverage ingredients as needed to ensure a well-supplied coffee bar
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently including providing change and processing payments
- Maintain a clean and organized coffee bar area including regular cleaning of counters machines and utensils
