Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- ability to handle money accurately
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow detailed recipes and preparation instructions
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests
- demonstrated money-handling and math skills
- demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register
Job Duties
- Determine guest needs and suggest products to enhance service and meet sales goals
- take guest orders, suggest entrees and sides, inform guest of next step of service
- prepare coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino
- keep equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs
- assist guests in the selection and purchase of food and beverages
- assist food servers and food runners in table maintenance and clean when necessary
- ensure dining and serving areas are set up and maintained according to standard
