Sodexo's Barista II position is based at UT Health Tyler, with a focus on delivering high-quality handcrafted beverages, excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This full-time role offers an hourly wage ranging from $14.50 to $15.70 and includes varying morning shifts with rotating weekends. As a Barista II, you will be an artist and champion of fair trade, responsible for preparing premium beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, chai, and fruit smoothies. Your role extends beyond beverage preparation – you will engage with customers to create positive experiences, operate cash registers accurately, and ensure the cleanliness and safety of work areas, including equipment and restaurant spaces. You will be expected to attend scheduled shifts punctually and collaborate effectively with your team to uphold a healthy and productive work atmosphere. The position requires adaptability and reliability, and prior experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation, and inventory control is preferred. Some locations require Starbucks Barista certification.
