The Barista II position at Sodexo offers a full-time opportunity with a pay range of $7.25 to $23.44 per hour, reflecting the value placed on experience and skill. You will prepare a variety of drinks, including coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, cafe lattes, teas, and fruit blends, serving as a fair-trade champion who supports sustainable sourcing. Beyond the technical skills, this position is about creating a welcoming atmosphere where customers leave with a smile. The role also involves operating cash registers, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately, and ensuring all operational areas remain clean and hygienic, in line with health and safety standards.

Previous experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation, and inventory control is preferred, and certification as a Starbucks Barista may be required at select locations. Job Duties

  • Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks
  • Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
  • Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
