The position available is for a Barista I at OU Health - University of Oklahoma Medical Center, offering part-time, on-call employment with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.56 to $16.17. The Barista will work flexible shifts, with specific schedules communicated during the interview process to accommodate open availability.

As a Barista I, you will be the face of Sodexo’s beverage service at the medical center, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and expertly preparing a variety of hot and cold drinks including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, lattes, teas, and specialty fruit blends. You will greet all guests with a friendly and personalized approach, ensuring that each visitor receives prompt and attentive service. The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of coffee and food preparation areas, managing inventory, and accurately handling transactions according to established cash-handling procedures.

Physical stamina is necessary for this role, as it requires extended periods of standing or walking and the ability to lift supplies up to 35 pounds regularly, with occasional heavier lifting. Creativity and attention to detail are valued, especially in arranging attractive product displays and suggesting menu items to customers.
