Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service roles
- Knowledge of food sanitation and preparation
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle money
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Punctuality and reliable attendance
- Flexibility to work any shift with open availability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Customer service related work experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control systems
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Barista certification such as Starbucks Barista may be required for some positions
- Capable of standing and moving for long periods
- Ability to lift moderate weights up to 50 pounds occasionally
Job Duties
- Greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
- Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, while considering customer specifications
- Maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of all beverages and food items
- Educate guests about menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
- Arrange coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to create attractive displays
- Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation areas regularly
- Record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register, and adhere to all cash-handling procedures
- Perform significant walking or mobility tasks during shifts
- Stand or walk for extended periods throughout the entire shift, which may exceed 8 hours
- Reach, bend, stoop, push/pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally lifting or moving 50 pounds
- Attend all scheduled shifts punctually and maintain satisfactory attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
