The Barista I position at Sodexo is a part-time role located at Chapman University, offering hourly pay between $20 and $21. As a Barista I, you will have a direct impact on the customer experience by crafting hand-made coffee and tea beverages, operating cash registers, and maintaining cleanliness in all work areas. In your role as a Barista I, you will be a key contributor to creating a welcoming atmosphere, engaging with customers warmly, and ensuring fast and accurate service. Your duties will include greeting guests, taking orders, preparing a variety of hot and cold beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, lattes, teas, and fruit blends, and also handling cash and electronic payments efficiently. Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness by regularly cleaning coffee machines, preparation areas, and restrooms is essential to uphold operational standards.
