Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in customer service or food and beverage industry advantageous
- ability to operate point of sale systems
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- attention to detail and good organizational skills
- willingness to learn about coffee preparation and product knowledge
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- promote and document orders
- make and present drinks using standard ingredients and recipes
- practice prudent portion control
- input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
- maintain accountability for all beverages served
- receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all transactions
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of the coffee bar on a daily basis including requisitioning, stocking, and rotating all products needed
- respond to guest complaints in a positive and tactful manner
- negotiate a compromise and implement solutions
- lock up and store all beverages, food and equipment items
- deposit cash drops
- secure and balance bank and sign out/in keys
