The main Baxters store will be located in Lee’s Summit, with a new outlet situated inside our Grain Valley convenience store. This new venture aims to provide high-quality coffee specialties, including expertly crafted lattes, to our valued customers. The Baxters coffee shop will be a unique space where passion for coffee meets excellent customer service and efficient store operations, enhancing the overall customer experience.\n\nThe role we are offering is perfect for individuals who are eager to grow with the company and build a career crafting espresso drinks. We are looking for staff who are enthusiastic about coffee making, enjoy working in a fast-paced retail and foodservice environment, and are committed to maintaining high hygiene standards in line with food production and sanitation codes. The role involves preparing food items according to standardized recipes, operating kitchen equipment safely, and ensuring the coffee station and store are clean and well-organized throughout the shift. You will also assist the existing team by restocking items and helping with kitchen and equipment cleaning duties. \n\nThis position offers competitive pay starting from $15.00 to $16.00 an hour depending on experience, with potential for higher pay based on advanced management experience. Additional pay of 50 cents per hour is provided for shifts between midnight and 6 a.m., complementing our goal to reward dedication and hard work during challenging hours. Employees are reviewed regularly with a performance review as early as 90 days from joining, followed by annual reviews to ensure continuous growth and recognition. Health insurance is available within 90 days of employment, providing peace of mind regarding personal health and well-being. Other benefits include vacation pay, overtime compensation for working over 40 hours or holidays, and an annual bonus based on store profits.\n\nThe manager role at Temp-Stop demands a friendly and professional approach in all duties, ensuring stellar customer service and maintaining store appearance. Managers play a pivotal role in store operations that include cleaning windows, floors, and bathrooms, stocking shelves and coolers, and checking incoming products from vendors. Effective communication with both staff and customers is essential. This position requires availability for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts. Reliable transportation is necessary, and employees must attend mandatory training and meetings such as Teamwork and Anti-Harassment training.\n\nPhysical demands include frequent bending, reaching, lifting up to 15 pounds regularly, and occasionally lifting weights up to 50 pounds, ensuring you can access all store areas and move quickly as needed.
