Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience as a barista or in customer service is advantageous
- ability to operate beverage equipment
- ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale system
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic math skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- reliable and punctual
- able to work well under pressure
- positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of beverage preparation preferred
- ability to operate beverage equipment
- ability to operate a keyboard and learn point of sale procedures to pre-check order and close out the check
- ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items
- work well under pressure
- have patience, tact and diplomacy
- is consistently at work and on time
- responds promptly to customer needs
- solicits customer feedback to improve service
- basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops

- barista training or experience preferred

- provides quality beverages consistently for all customers
- prepares beverages to standards
- follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products
- performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning standards
- follows cash handling procedures and cash register policies
- follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines
