Job Duties
- Works quickly, efficiently and accurately when performing all duties, including beverage preparation and cashiering
- Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments and maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies utensils, and dining area
- Greets customers courteously and interacts in a friendly, courteous manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitors product for expiration dates, including rotating product using the FIFO process
- Able to perform basic math and follows safe cash handling process
- Communicates essential information to others in a timely manner
- Possesses general knowledge of hospital information and locations in order to assist visitors, patients and families
- Demonstrates teamwork and the spirit of cooperation
- Willingly accepts any other assignment that may be requested
- Maintains accurate and timely inventory within their responsibility
- Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
- Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards and serves food neatly and attractively per standard
