Job Requirements

  • Previous barista experience required
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to handle cash and process charge payments
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Job Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to operate POS systems accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • Enter orders accurately into POS device
  • accept cash and charge payments
  • Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • Follow HACCP standards
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
  • Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
  • Greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors
  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and explain them accurately
  • Serve as an advocate of selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting customer buying decisions
  • Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly
  • Perform other duties as assigned
