Job Requirements
- Previous barista experience required
- ability to work full-time or part-time schedules as assigned
- availability to work Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
- willingness to follow proper food safety and handling procedures
- ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience
- ability to operate POS systems accurately
- strong customer service skills
- knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP)
- ability to maintain cleanliness in food service areas
- effective communication skills
- capacity to work in fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- serves customers quickly and efficiently
- demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
- assists in customer buying decisions through communication
- merchandises display foods attractively
- performs other duties as assigned
