Job Requirements
- Prior barista, food service or front-of-house experience preferred
- possession of a food handler's card preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enter orders accurately into POS device
- accept cash and charge payments
- replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follow HACCP standards
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction
- relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- serve customers quickly and efficiently
- demonstrate understanding of daily menu items and explain to customers
- advocate selling techniques and assist in customer buying decisions
- ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- serve food neatly and attractively per standard
- perform other duties as assigned
