Job Requirements
- Prior barista experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
- Willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation standards
- Must be able to operate POS devices and handle cash transactions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work in a healthcare facility environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior barista experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety standards (HACCP)
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and POS operation
- Ability to work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enter orders accurately into POS device and accept cash and charge payments
- Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- Greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
- Explain daily menu items accurately to customers
- Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
