This multi-generational company has built its success on a strong service culture that values authenticity, respect, and prioritizing the needs of stakeholders both internally and externally. SHG is passionate about hospitality and is eager to grow its team with like-minded individuals who share their commitment to creating positive impacts through outstanding service.
The Barista role at Schulte Hospitality Group offers a unique opportunity to join an employee-focused workplace that emphasizes engagement, empowerment, and career growth. This role is perfect for individuals who are dynamic, service-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences. Baristas at SHG play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold beverages including coffee, blended coffee drinks, and tea while customizing orders based on customer preferences. Beyond beverage preparation, the role involves serving prepared foods such as sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, or bagels, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring that all service and seating areas are clean, sanitized, and inviting.
Employees at SHG benefit from a fun, flexible, and rewarding work environment that supports both their professional and personal growth. The company provides numerous perks including Daily Pay, free telemedicine and virtual mental health care access from day one, various health insurance and life insurance options, a 401k plan with company match, paid parental leave, paid time off, holiday pay, pet insurance, an employee assistance program, and a Schulte Savings Marketplace featuring discounts on event tickets, electronics, gym memberships, and more. These benefits demonstrate SHG’s commitment to its greatest asset—its people.
Working as a Barista within SHG means being part of a team that not only values strong service skills but also the ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment. The role requires basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, as well as the ability to operate equipment such as cash registers and coffee machines. Candidates can expect a hiring process that may include interviews, background and reference checks, drug screening, and potential employment assessments. SHG is an Equal Opportunity Employer, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where every associate is respected and empowered to succeed.
Overall, this position is a compelling gateway to a career in hospitality with an innovative, growth-oriented company that prioritizes its employees’ welfare and professional development, making it a highly attractive opportunity for anyone looking to thrive in the hospitality industry.
