The role offered at PJ's Coffee is a customer-focused barista position that combines the art of coffee-making with excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Employees will be trained extensively in the PJ’s methods of crafting premium coffee and beverages to ensure every cup meets the high standards the company is known for. Baristas at PJ's are integral to creating a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging customer engagement, and maintaining the store's operational excellence. This position includes various responsibilities, such as preparing beverages and food items consistently and efficiently, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, handling cash accurately, and actively participating in ongoing training programs to increase coffee knowledge and enhance work skills.

The compensation for this role ranges from $7.50 to $15.00 per hour depending on experience, with opportunities for quick promotion and raises based on performance and responsibilities taken on. Employees benefit from a team-based tip share system and are paid weekly, with paid time off accrued for full-time employees after 180 days.
