Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work full-time shifts
- willingness to train if no barista experience
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to work Fridays through Thursdays in assigned shifts
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- barista experience desired but not required
- ability to interact courteously and professionally with customers
- basic knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to operate POS devices
- strong communication skills
- willingness to learn and ability to follow procedures
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
