Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year of barista experience
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday with varying hours
- Willingness to comply with HACCP standards
- Capability to handle cash and operate POS devices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to the role
- Must be able to interact positively with customers and colleagues
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- One year of previous barista experience preferred
- Familiarity with HACCP food safety guidelines
- Experience operating POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follows HACCP standards
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately to customers
- Serves as an advocate of selling techniques to customers by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
- Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
