Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of barista experience
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday with varying hours
  • Willingness to comply with HACCP standards
  • Capability to handle cash and operate POS devices
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to the role
  • Must be able to interact positively with customers and colleagues
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • One year of previous barista experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HACCP food safety guidelines
  • Experience operating POS systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Job Duties

  • Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • Enters orders accurately into POS device
  • accepts cash and charge payments
  • Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • follows HACCP standards
  • Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately to customers
  • Serves as an advocate of selling techniques to customers by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
  • Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
  • Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
