Job Requirements

At least one year of previous barista experience preferred
open availability for full-time and part-time schedules
ability to handle cash and electronic payments
knowledge of HACCP food safety guidelines
ability to stand for extended periods
excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

At least one year of previous barista experience preferred
friendly and courteous interpersonal skills
ability to operate POS systems accurately
knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP
ability to prepare espresso and coffee beverages following standard recipes
strong attention to detail and organizational skills
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced customer service environment

Job Duties

Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
enters orders accurately into POS device
accepts cash and charge payments
replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays in serving lines
demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
serves as an advocate of selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in buying decisions
ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly per standard
performs other duties as assigned
