This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy customer interaction, work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for crafting high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.

As a Barista at Midwestern State University, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the campus experience by providing exceptional service and quality products. The role demands familiarity with food safety standards, specifically adherence to HACCP guidelines, and requires experience in handling food and beverages with precision and care. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $11.00 to $13.00, reflecting the value we place on skilled team members. Additionally, employees benefit from perks such as free uniforms and complimentary meals, reinforcing our commitment to creating a welcoming workplace.

Our company culture encourages continuous learning, personal growth, and the opportunity to shape a positive dining atmosphere. Employees enjoy benefits including training and development programs, retirement plans, health and wellness initiatives, and discounts through associate shopping programs. Full-time team members also have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other essential coverage options.

Applicants must have prior barista experience, with preferred skills in inventory management to ensure efficient operation of the service area. The role requires strong communication skills as customer interaction is a significant aspect of the job. You will be responsible for preparing espresso orders, accurately entering transactions, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace, and presenting food and beverages attractively according to established standards. Our goal is to not only deliver great coffee but also to create an enjoyable and memorable customer experience.

At Midwestern State University, equality and inclusion are core values. We strive to create a workplace where everyone is treated fairly and with respect, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected classifications. We welcome applicants who can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
