Job Requirements
- Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
- One year of experience preparing and serving food and beverage
- Equivalent education or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license or certification
- Ability to work night or variable shifts as scheduled
- Ability to operate espresso and food service equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience preparing and serving food and beverages
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
- Ability to operate espresso machines and food service equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Provide excellent, respectful customer service to a diverse customer base in a medical setting
- Train new or unskilled employees in preparation and service of espresso beverages and food items, cleaning and stocking duties, and departmental procedures
- Operate all espresso and food service equipment and machinery
- Prepare and serve food items
- Stock supplies necessary for preparation and service of beverages and food items
- Display food and espresso items attractively
- Operate cash register and handle cash, check and charge payments according to departmental policies and procedures
