Job Requirements
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
- Minimum one year of experience preparing and serving food and beverages
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when legal requirements exist
- Ability to work full-time hours including varied shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with food preparation and service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience preparing and serving food and beverages
- Ability to train and mentor new employees
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate food service equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash register operation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Independently operate a remote food service area or espresso bar
- Prepare and serve espresso beverages and food items
- Provide excellent, respectful customer service in a medical setting
- Train new or unskilled employees on preparation, service, cleaning, and stocking duties
- Operate all espresso and food service equipment and machinery
- Handle cash register transactions including cash, check, and charge payments
- Maintain stock supplies necessary for preparation and service
- Display food and espresso items attractively
