Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
  • Minimum one year of experience preparing and serving food and beverages
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when legal requirements exist
  • Ability to work full-time hours including varied shifts
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with food preparation and service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of experience preparing and serving food and beverages
  • Ability to train and mentor new employees
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to operate food service equipment safely and efficiently
  • Basic math skills for cash register operation
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Independently operate a remote food service area or espresso bar
  • Prepare and serve espresso beverages and food items
  • Provide excellent, respectful customer service in a medical setting
  • Train new or unskilled employees on preparation, service, cleaning, and stocking duties
  • Operate all espresso and food service equipment and machinery
  • Handle cash register transactions including cash, check, and charge payments
  • Maintain stock supplies necessary for preparation and service
  • Display food and espresso items attractively
