Jumeirah The Red Sea is one of the brand's latest prestigious properties, providing an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role available is for a Barista position, ideal for professionals aiming to be part of a world-renowned luxury hospitality brand. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a diverse menu of coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, and light food items such as sandwiches, muffins, pastries, and cookies, ensuring each item meets the brand’s exacting standards.
This role demands a thorough understanding of the menu and the ability to offer tailored recommendations to guests, enhancing their overall dining experience. Baristas will also be instrumental in refining and contributing to the innovation of the bar menu, helping perfect signature drinks. In addition, they are expected to handle financial transactions accurately by following standard cashiering procedures and ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and precise service.
Operational excellence is key in this position, with responsibilities including performing daily equipment calibrations for optimal performance. Job Requirements
- Hold a higher secondary school certificate or country specific certification
- Have 1 year bartending experience in a luxury hotel
- Completed a basic food and hygiene training
- Possess experience of working in an international capacity
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone

Job Duties
- Take orders and serve food and beverages as requested by guests ensuring accuracy and prompt service
- Maintain complete knowledge of the menu including food and beverages and provide recommendations and advice to guests and colleagues as necessary
- Ensure that guests receive the correct order and that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standard operating procedures
- Contribute to the development of the bar menu and perfect recipes for signature drinks
- Collect money for orders served process financial transactions following standard cashiering procedures and ensure all bills are checked for accuracy before presentation to the guest
- Perform daily calibrations of equipment such as coffee machines and grinders before each shift to ensure optimal performance
