Job Requirements
- Availability to work Sunday through Saturday
- Willingness to work rotating shifts between 5:30 am and 8:30 pm
- Ability to follow cash handling procedures
- Commitment to providing fast, friendly and courteous service
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate espresso machines and related equipment
- Experience with customer service
- Completion of Act 34 clearance
Job Qualifications
- Ability to accurately count and perform basic mathematical functions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use point of service system
- Previous cashier experience preferred
Job Duties
- Welcome questions and educate guests
- Make espresso drinks, smoothies and coolers delivered in less than three minutes
- Operate espresso machine and video screen
- Identify each drink and delivery
- Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with store standards
- Follow cash handling procedures and policies
- Contribute to store profitability and sales goals
- Learn and demonstrate creating the Starbucks experience
- Offer customer demonstrations and samples
- Discover customer needs and suggest products
- Prepare and produce all drinks to Starbucks standard
- Batch like drinks together
- Keep guest areas clean
- Respond to customer needs and thank each customer
- Demonstrate Just Say Yes behavior
- Follow store policies and procedures
