Job Requirements
- Must have barista experience
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work Monday through Friday from 6:45 am to 2:30 pm
- strong numerical skills for cash handling
- good communication skills
- familiarity with POS systems
- ability to maintain food safety standards
- capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred
- passion for coffee is a plus
- proven experience in cashiering or retail math to handle cash handling accurately
- familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- knowledge of food safety practices food handling and basic math for transactions
- ability to stand for extended periods lift light objects and work flexible hours as needed
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- prepare a variety of coffee beverages teas and light food items following established recipes and standards
- operate POS systems process sales quickly and accurately
- handle cash credit card transactions and POS operations with precision maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area including food preparation and handling
- provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions resolving issues promptly and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and minimize wait times
