Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age to be considered for temporary employment
- Flexible availability including weekends and varied shifts
- Ability to perform frequent movement within the store and remain stationary for extended periods
- Ability to lift frequently and occasionally reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
- Commitment to follow health and safety protocols including food handling and sanitation standards
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable and team-oriented work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age to be considered for temporary employment
- Previous food handling experience preferred
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods
Job Duties
- Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
- Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit
- Take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
- Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques
- Set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
- Routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal
