Job Requirements

Minimum age of 16 years to be considered for temporary employment
Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent movement, lifting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
Flexibility to work various shifts including opening, midday, or closing
Compliance with food handling or safety certification as required
Availability to work weekly for up to 90 days for temporary positions
Willingness to follow COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination and use of face masks when required

Job Qualifications

Minimum age of 16 years for temporary employment
Previous food handling experience preferred
Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
Outstanding attitude with willingness to learn and capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment
Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods

Job Duties

Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit
Take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques
Set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
Perform routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal
Adhere to physical demands such as frequent movement, lifting, and occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
