Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- six months previous experience in customer service
- ability to operate a cash register accurately

Job Qualifications

- Ability to write notes and brief instructions using correct spelling and grammar

- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) months previous experience working with the public in a customer service role
- Experience working in kitchens of facilities or institutions that provide meals to large groups of people daily
Job Duties
- Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers, preparing, and serving a variety of coffee drinks as well as food items
- Provides high quality customer service, including efficient sales practice and proper food sanitation
- Reports to: Retail Manager
- Supervises: N/A
- Operates cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus)
- Sets up appropriate cashier bank
- Documents cash received and charges made
- Identifies customer needs and refers to appropriate department for follow-up when necessary
- Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu, answering questions
- Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee supply
- stocking coffee brewing equipment
- maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies etc. for coffee bar
- Stocking refrigerators with beverages, condiments etc
- Cleaning, sanitizing, polishing general work areas, this includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and throwing trash
- Prepare and gather items needed for meal service
- Provides exceptional service to all guests
- Perform other duties as assigned
