Job Requirements

Passion for hospitality and coffee
Experience as a Barista or food service role
Ability to maintain a BASSET certificate and Chicago food handlers license
Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances
High integrity with a great attendance record
Strong attention to detail, especially when working under pressure
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends where business demands
Neat, clean, professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community
Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the employee handbook
Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem

Job Qualifications

Passion for hospitality and coffee
Experience as a Barista or food service role
Familiarity with coffee drinks and coffee varieties a plus
Ability to maintain a BASSET certificate and Chicago food handlers license
Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances

Job Duties

Act as the main point of contact for our customers, both through online orders and in person orders
provide exceptional customer service throughout every interaction
Prepare hot and cold drinks according to the recipes as well as modifying based on customer needs
Work in a way that maintains a clean and tidy work area while following all city and state health guidelines
If needed, serve alcohol in a safe manner
maintain a BASSET certification during your tenure
Solve customer problems
ask for help if needed
work to provide a high level of service with each interaction
Work in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and organized
Collaborate with your teammates during each shift
Communicate shift needs to the Shift Leads, during, and after your shift
Use POS and technology in place to process transactions
Process transactions either via credit card or cash
Process credit cards in a safe way and provide correct change to each customer
