Job Requirements

At least 1 year of recent experience in a barista position
Ability to operate a commercial espresso machine
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively and professionally with others
Availability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends
Eligible to work in the United States
Willingness to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
Minimum age of 18 years

Job Duties

Welcome customers by determining their coffee interests and needs
Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu
Demonstrate current and working knowledge of drip coffee, cold beverage, espresso bar, and pastry stations
Prepare and sell coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso, espresso lungo, café latte, and cappuccino
Follow standards and maintain work area and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food and drink-handling practices
Produce and present freshly prepared products following recipes while meeting speed of service standards
